What is APIVA?
-
A non-stock, non-profit organization consisting of on-call Filipino and Japanese volunteers committed to support and provide assistance for humanitarian purposes and foster friendly relations with other foreign individuals and organizations, thus, bridging the gap between Filipinos and their plight with life’s uncertainties in Japan through social, educational, cultural and humanitarian pursuit in order to contribute to the social and economic amelioration of the community.
Mission:
To provide support and assistance for humanitarian purposes and foster friendly relations with other foreign individuals and organizations, thus, bridging the gap between Filipinos and their plight with life’s uncertainties in Japan and enhancing the image of Filipinos through social, educational, cultural and humanitarian pursuit in order to contribute to the social and economic amelioration of the community.

Purpose:
To provide humanitarian support, voluntary assistance, and coordination for the ff:

Troubled Filipino individuals needing legal assistance, advices, translators, interpreters and the like,

Philippine Embassy outreach consular missions,

Promotion of the Filipino culture and heritage through festivals and the like,
-
Objectives of other organizations, groups and individuals committed to help less-fortunate and troubled Filipinos and other individuals in society.

Japan-based Filipinos, Japanese-Filipino children and Japanese friends in general in overcoming the communication barrier.
